Welcome:
It is that time again, and the 2011 fall semester is under way. We have a good line up of classes and teachers and are anticipating an exciting semester of "...equipping the saints for the work of ministry..."
Although we have incorporated as Grace International University, we are still working on our 501(C)(3) ruling from IRS, so, the local campus will continue to operate as Channel Islands Bible College and Seminary this semester. The objective, of course, is to have it function as a school of Grace International University.
As we open the doors for this semester we continue our walk of faith. The finances that will see us through are nowhere in sight. But, the God that controls the support of the school is evident everywhere. He has not told us to alter our course, so we will continue to press toward the mark of the high calling of Christ Jesus * equipping the saints, and doing so on a grace basis. We do have some monthly obligations to take care of as we close out the month of August, and we are trusting God to provide.
Today, there is an urgent need for biblically based academic training. We are headed for some dark days in our society, and believers are going to need a solid foundation of biblical truth to sustain them. We believe that Channel Islands Bible College & Seminary is a primary resource for developing that foundation. So, let me encourage you to pursue that objective as a student and to consider being a financial partner with us in this endeavor.
It is good to see you on campus!
Dr. Troy S. Welch,
